CopaCabanna owner, has spent 13 years as a social ballroom dance instructor. Her own experience as a student was so enjoyable, she’s made sharing ballroom dancing with others her career.
Dan Barraza
Dan began dancing social latin as a child. He began to train and teach ballroom, swing, and Argentine Tango when he was nineteen. He teaches both social and competitive styles of dancing, and has several students that compete with him. He also competes professionly with his wife, Amanda, in the American Rhythm division. He is finishing his degree in physical therapy at the Uhiversity of Cincinnati.He is available for private lessons most evenings, and professional shows and demonstrations by appointment.
Amanda Barraza
Amanda began dancing at age 3. She began teaching and competing professionaly at age 22. She has trained many amatuer and professional dancers over the years, and loves seeing people progress in their dancing. She teaches all styles of ballroom and latin, as well as swing, hustle, and Argentine Tango. She competes in the American Rhythm division with her husband, Dan. She is known for her inovative choreography, and is available for shows and demonstrations. She is available most days and several evenings and weekends for private lessons.
